The first Stony release of 2024 is the weekend of April 6 & 7 and I propose we go shred that particular gnar!

The trip will be running Stony Canyon which is the class 3/4- section. The Canyon section has many miles of interesting ledge and boulder rapids and lots of great play holes. This is a really good run if you’re considering stepping up to the Lower Yough this season or if you’ve already run the LoYo 3,000 times!

I am open to running the lower section as well to open the trip up to newer boaters. The lower section is a Class 2 with 1-2 significant rapids but mostly boogie water and giggles.

DRYSUITS will be REQUIRED and a brief overview of your skills to get on the Canyon if I haven’t boated with you before.

Let’s plan to meet at the Hollsopple Ballfields at 10AM each day.
