Pick a trip to match your current skill level, Score your own Paddler Rating Self Test using our on-line system, tell the Trip Organizer what you rating is and whether you would like any informal training assistance. Tell them the most difficult river that you have successfully paddled.

Whitewater Kayaking Courses by the TRPC

The Three Rivers Paddling club hosts 2 instructional events each year. In the spring at Slippery Rock Creek and in the fall at the Youghiogheny. You will be placed in a group based on your skill level and will get 2 full days of whitewater skill building and learning.

These events are for beginners to advanced kayakers and are a great way to meet the community, and learn fundamental skills. Visit the link below to sign up on their site!

The Keel-hauler Canoe Club has an Event Calender for all our club members. You will be assisted in learning paddling techniques on any trip you come on if you ask the organizer for assistance.

If you are not a current member, you can come on one trip to see if you enjoy the group. After that we ask that you Join Our Club.
